Heat that actually hits you
Most heaters try to warm up the air. The problem? If you’re outside, the wind just blows that warm air away. Our units work differently. They send out infrared energy that goes straight to your skin and your clothes. It’s instant. The second you tap a button on your app, you feel it. It’s that “springtime in the middle of January” feeling. No waiting around for the air to warm up—just immediate heat.
Getting it to talk to your house
To get these working with your smart home, we use things like Zigbee, Matter, or Wi-Fi relays. But here is a pro tip: these heaters pull a lot of power. If you just plug them into a cheap smart switch, you might smell something burning. We suggest using heavy-duty contactors. Think of it as a bodyguard for your smart relay; it handles the heavy lifting of the electricity so your smart tech doesn’t burn out.
A few things to keep in mind
Nothing is perfect. Because this heat is so direct, it’s very concentrated. You’ll feel toasted if you’re standing right under the lamp, but if you step three feet to the left, you might feel the chill again. You’ve got to be smart about where you mount them so you don’t end up with “hot spots” and “cold zones.” One last thing: the outer shell is tough, but the glass emitter inside is still glass. It can break. Just don’t install them where someone is likely to whack them with a ladder or a stray football.
