We use mirror-finish reflectors to push all that IR energy straight down where you actually need it.&#xA;Then, we add a special coating to the quartz tube. Think of it as a filter. It doesn&amp;rsquo;t black out the light completely—you&amp;rsquo;ll still see a soft, warm glow—but it knocks down the intensity. No more blinking or squinting every time you flip the switch.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Getting the Setup Right&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;There&amp;rsquo;s a bit of a balancing act when it comes to the actual install.&#xA;First, you need a steady power supply. Nobody wants a flickering light in their bathroom; it&amp;rsquo;s distracting and just feels cheap.&#xA;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the heat. Most bulbs run between 250W and 600W. If you jam too many of them into a tiny ceiling fixture, the whole housing is going to bake.
